L'Oreal Perfect Slim Eyeliner

As I loved my L'Oreal Carbon Gloss eye liner I decided to try another one of their eye liners when it ran out. This one has lovely sleek packaging which doesn't look tacky at all, the colours are simple and go well together. The tip is super fine which I love so I can draw I really thin 'barely visible' line on my upper lash line. This eye liner is a very intense black colour. I hate eye liners that turn out grey, its a pet peeve of mine! The staying power is wonderful and it doesn't smudge at all. It dries in seconds which is fantastic. I actually can't find one negative thing to say about it!
Overall I have now found my HG liquid eye liner! I will definitely be repurchasing this.

Beautiful Blogger Award - EVERYONE NOMINATED!

I was absolutely amazed when the lovely Amanda from http://theparisianpout.blogspot.co.uk/ nominated me for this award! This is my first beauty award and I'm very flattered. You should all go and check out her seriously cute blog its awesome. Her blog contains a bit of everything and her make up looks flawless!

Some questions......

1. Tell us how the idea of making a blog popped up and what makes you continue it.

I discovered the beauty community on youtube in 2008 and was hooked on watching beauty videos. I loved them and learnt so many new things this sparked my obsession for all things beauty. After beauty videos are started reading a few well known blogs. I started this blog because I wanted to connect with other girls who have a passion for make up. The comments I get really cheer me up and make my day, this is what makes me continue blogging. Everyone is so nice and I haven't experienced any hate *touch wood*!

2. Describe a usual day in your life.
A usual day for me would be a school day but as thats pretty boring I'll describe what I do at the weekend. I usually have a lie in on both Saturday and Sunday (yup I'm lazy like that!) Then I'll check my facebook and blog. Sometimes I will go shopping or to the movies with my friends. My cousins usually come over in the afternoon so I hang out with them sometimes. I sometimes go over to my lovely grandma's house. Yeah my life is pretty average haha.

3. Describe what having a blog means to you.
I love having a blog. Its a way to talk to other like minded people who share the same love of make up and beauty products. I always find new products to try and which ones to avoid. I love being part of the blogging community as I have learnt so much. It's also a great time spender, I could spend hours looking at various blogs and not get bored. There are so many of them, thats why I love checking out your blogs in the comments :)

4. Nominate other bloggers.
Sorry I'm going to have to cheat here!
I TAG YOU ALL!

Once again, thank you so much Amanda! Your blog is fantastic
^ Seriously check it out!

Soap And Glory The Righteous Butter

I love Soap & Glory products. They are always of excellent quality and their packaging is adorable. I love this product mostly  because of the scent. Yes it's the typical Soap & Glory floral scent which you either love or hate! I personally don't find it over  powering but it definitely lingers into your skin and lasts a while. It takes a about 5-10 minutes to sink into your skin which isn't super fast nor super slow. I wouldn't call this a 'butter', its more like a thick cream. I love how it doesn't make my skin feel greasy just smooth and soft. This tub will last you a while because you only need a little bit to achieve smooth, moisturised skin.
This 50ml tub cost me £2.50

Products I Regret Buying

I don't often get disappointed by beauty products because I read reviews before making purchases. However a few certain products have definitely disappointed me and not lived up to their expectations.

E.L.F Studio Concealer Quad
I'm a massive fan of Elf products but unfortunately this one let me down. The concealers have very little staying power and don't really 'conceal' anything. The colours are too orangey as well.

Garnier Eye Makeup Remover
I only bought this because it was the only eye make up remover Asda had when I ran out of my l'Oreal one. It does an average job of removing makeup, but it just feels so greasy on my eyes. I need to use a lot of cotton pads to get everything off.

Umberto Gianni Flirty Curls Scrunching Jelly
All I can say about this is that it didn't do its job. It just made my hair feel sticky and stiff. Didn't give me any beachy waves.

Neutrogena 8 Hour Spot Treatment
I break out pretty easily so I bought this thinking it would help get rid of the spots on only 8 hours. Boy I was wrong, this product also doesn't work at all! It stings my spots and doesn't reduce the size at all.

Garnier Face Wash
After using this my skin still feels dirty. It doesn't clean it well enough for my liking. I've never been a fan of Garnier face products so I don't know why I bought this! The smell is too strong and minty for my liking.

Body Shop Tea Tree Toner
I bought this along with the facewash, hoping it would work amazingly because I adore Bodyshop products. This toner is just way to strong for me. It burns my skin and doesn't really help with acne at all. I think this would be better suited to people with very oily skin.

How I store my earrings

Happy 4th of July if you're from America! (If not I hope you're having a good day too :p)
This is where I have decided to store my earrings. My aunty gave me this cute little box for my birthday. Its a nice small size for storing delicate studs in and it looks very pretty on my vanity.

I love the delicate pattern around the sides too. I'm very unobservant because I only noticed this a few weeks ago despite having this little box for about 6 months. I haven't yet transferred my studs into this but I will do soon.

June Favs

Hey guys
I can't believe June is over all ready, I've had such a hectic month full of exams and school work. The end of a month means a favourites post. My first one ever in fact! Here are a few products I've been loving this month :)

Pixi Endless Silky Eye Pen Taster Trio
I've been using these eyeliners almost everyday this past month especially the purple one. I love putting a thin line of this on my upper lash line. It really makes my eyes pop and they are so smooth and pigminted. My only peeve is that they are 'too soft' and need a hell of a lot of sharpening. These also make my waterline water just a little but it doesn't bother me.
Elf Powder Brush
I use this brush for litterally everything. I especially love using it for foundation as it gives me a great flawless and pore less finish. The bristles never shed and they are amazingly soft. At only £3.50 its a total bargain.
Maybelline One By One Mascara
This is without a doubt the best mascara I have ever used. It isn't clumpy and gives off a lovely intense black colour. I thought I had lost this so I was very happy happy when I re discovered it this month.
Revlon Lip Butter in Pink Truffle
Yes that's right another person raving about the Revlon lip butters haha. This is the only one I own but I love it. The colour is nice and natural and the smell is fresh and light too. I suffer from dry lips and this moisturises them very well.
Kleenex Shine Absorbing Sheets
I never used to bother with blotting sheets until my skin became oily now they are a godsend. These soak up all the oil from your face without messing up your foundation. These are awesome and I love using them to freshen up my skin when its hot and I start to feel oily.

Soap And Glory Hand Food

I picked this up in boots a few weeks ago because I've heard such good things about it and because they had 3 for 2 on soap and glory. I've gotta say I'm very impressed. The formula is lovely and smooth, not greasy at all which is great. I love the scent too as its light and floral. I keep this in my handbag all the time now and its quickly became one of my all time favourite products all at the amazing price of £2.50. This little pink tube is freaking amazing.

Trevorsorbie beautifully straightened review

Hey everyone
I'm really sorry for the lack of blogging but I've had a lot of school work and exams going on at the moment. I've just been sorry busy its unreal!

I picked up this heat defence spray about a month ago after the nozzle of my treseme one broke. I had never heard of this brand before so I was eager to try it out because I love trying out new products. I can honestly say I love this thing, It works like a dream and smells amazing! I don't have a particular talent to describing scents so all I can say is that its very sweet and floral.
The packaging is simple and pratical, the spray nozzle is also easy to spray. I like to spray this on my dry hair before I straighten it (I don't blowdry, I wait for my hair to air dry). I really like the consistency of the protect, it is thin and runny almost like water so it won't weigh your hair down.
After using this I really do notice a change in the texture of my hair it's smoother and softer. It also stays straight for longer which is amazing and I don't get as many fly aways. I haven't noticed any more split ends growing in my hair but I did get a haircut a few weeks ago so we will see. As you can see I clearly love this thing!
I bought this whilst boots had a 3 for 2 offer on travel toiletries but the full 200ml bottle is £5.10

NOTD: Barry M Mint Green

Today I've been sporting Barry M's nail paint in Mint Green (original name I know!). This is honestly my first every Barry M product and I can definately say that I adore it! The colour is just so fresh and spring like. Here in England the weather is always crappy so this nail polish just lifts my mood!

As you can see the colour is very sheer but the formula is lovely and smooth. The nail polish took 30 minutes to dry which is pretty long, I was kinda bummed about that.

This is what it looks like on my nails after 3 coats. I've been wearing this colour for 2 1/2 days and I am yet to notice any chipping which is great for me as I have a tendency to pick my nail polish off..... For £2.99 this nail paint is amazing, I will definitely be purchasing more nail paints from Barry M!

My Skin Saviour!

I have sensitive skin that is also prone to breaking out a lot, I've tried so many things to help with my acne but none of them seemed to work that well except tea tree oil! I apply a drop of this on a clean finger and dab it on any blemishes I have. Within a few hours I notice a huge difference. The blemish is usually reduced to just a small red mark! I try not to use too much of this because it does dry out your skin and the smell is very strong so I recommend having a window open when using this. At £2.99 from Superdrug you can't really go wrong!
